As a 2018 Youth Olympian and a Molecular Bioscientist from the University of Helsinki, Annika leads business development, fundraising, and clinical partnership acquisition at ReMinded. In 2024, she relocated to the U.S. long-term to accelerate the company’s growth—demonstrating both her deep commitment and her readiness to take personal risks in pursuit of the team’s mission. That same year, she was honored with the Rising Star of the Year award at the Nordic Women in Tech Awards 2024.

With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University, Sanjida has a comprehensive set of expertise in biosensor development, nano-fabrication, and material synthesis. Her work focuses on the development of point-of-care and wearable medical devices for monitoring disease-related biomarkers. As Chief Scientific Officer, she is dedicated to leveraging her skill set to drive innovation in biosensor technologies, scale sensor development, and lead clinical integration and validation—where precision and relentless execution are at the core.

After completing his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at Aalto University, Adil seamlessly integrates academic knowledge with practical skills in hardware development and 3D modeling for medical devices. As the head of tech, he leverages his expertise to lead innovative projects and drive technological advancements forward. His fearless approach to pushing boundaries and embracing bigger challenges shines through in every milestone he achieves.

With a strong foundation in nanotechnology engineering and currently finalizing her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, Ria brings a unique combination of scientific depth and entrepreneurial drive. Her academic and research journey varies from biosensors, electrochemical testing, to data analysis for biological applications and biomedical innovation. During her time at Columbia, Ria expanded her business knowledge to complement her technical background and pursued projects aimed at translating innovations from the lab bench to the bedside, strengthening her focus on real-world healthcare impact. She has also achieved recognition at the national level, leading her design team to 1st place at the 2024 Canadian Engineering Competition. At ReMinded, Ria applies her expertise in electrochemical biosensors and nanomaterial synthesis to advance the company’s mission in salivary diagnostics. Her rare talent and genuine interest in making real-world impact in the healthcare space makes her an invaluable member of the team.
